MYOC Kokum Butter is a cosmetic grade natural butter extracted from the seeds of Garcinia indica — the Indian kokum fruit. Kokum butter is one of India's most unique and prized natural cosmetic ingredients, increasingly valued internationally for its hard, stable structure, non-comedogenic profile and clean, dry skin feel. Formulation guidelines: Lip balm 10–40%; body stick and solid lotion 15–30%; body lotion 5–15%; face moisturiser 3–10%; solid shampoo bar 5–15%; soap superfat 5–10%. Kokum butter has a high melting point (38–40°C) and produces firm, break-resistant solid products. It melts cleanly on skin contact, leaving no residue. Kokum butter is one of the few hard butters that is considered non-comedogenic — making it suitable for formulating face products intended for oily, combination and acne-prone skin. It is compatible with mango butter, shea butter, coconut oil, jojoba oil and most carrier oils.
