Opulence Exterior PU is an acrylic based 2 pack polyurethane clear wood coating specially formulated for premium wood works. It gives excellent weather resistance, light fastness and UV protection thus preserving the natural beauty of your wooden exteriors for years. DISCOLOURED OR WEATHERED WOOD: Remove discoloured or weathered layer by sanding with 100 grit paper and treat it with Sheenlac WB Impregnation clear. Dry it for 2 hrs and sand to remove the grain rise with #220 grit paper. Remove dust with a dry cloth followed by Pigmented Exterior Wood stain colour, to prevent further discoloration and restore the natural colour. FILLER: It is not recommended to fill the grain pores. Use Sheenlac WB Timber filler to seal the major holes, Joints and crack. STAIN THE WOOD: Adding stain to bare or stripped wood can both change the colour and highlight the grain pattern of any wood. Apply Sheenlac WB Exterior wood stain by rubbing or brushing against the direction of the grain will help fill deep pores with stain and prevent the discoloration of wood. Apply a liberal amount of stain, giving the wood an ample amount to absorb. Wipe out the excess stain after 2-3 mins and then allow it to dry for 2 hrs. To increase the colour depth, suggest to apply a second coat. If you try our Solvent based Exterior stain, then mix it with Opulence sealer and spray till you reach the desired colour depth.
