J. Dutta Wooden Slate with Lines and Squares 15 inches x 12 inches is an ideal educational aid suitable for home use and preschool use for children to practise writing Devanagari (Hindi/Marathi) Script letters and numbers. There are amply spaced Blue lines on the front and 100 blue squares on the back in a 10 x 10 grid. Writing on the slate (often called chalkboard) with chalk develops motor skills and finger grip to hold a pencil and a pen. The smooth wooden surface makes writing with chalk easy. The writing can be wiped off with a regular duster or a slightly moist cloth. If the slate has been wiped with a slightly moist cloth, please dry the slate thoroughly. Always store the slate in a dry place. Note: The slate could be packed with a small sachet of Generic Silica Gel to protect the product during storage and delivery. Chalk is NOT included in the product. Chalk is to be purchased separately. Do NOT write on the slate with regular pencil or pen which is used to write on paper.
