Leather behaves differently — it resists moisture penetration, does not develop mold in humid conditions, does not attract the pests that burrow into wooden structures, and maintains its shape through repeated heating and cooling cycles across Indian seasons. The leather used in this bird house is recycled from manufacturing offcuts — material that would otherwise enter the waste stream. Not suitable for larger birds such as mynas, crows, or pigeons. PLACEMENT Mount at a height of 1.5 metres or above for consistent use by sparrows. Position the entry hole away from direct afternoon sun and prevailing monsoon wind.
