MYOC Kojic Acid Dipalmitate is a cosmetic grade oil-soluble brightening active — the esterified, stable derivative of kojic acid for professional and DIY skin brightening formulations. Kojic acid is one of the most widely used brightening agents in cosmetics globally; however, the plain form is notoriously unstable. Kojic Acid Dipalmitate solves this problem — providing superior stability, oil solubility and ease of formulation with no risk of rapid discolouration. Formulation guidelines: Incorporate into the oil phase at 70°C; use at 0.5–3% in day cream, brightening moisturiser, sunscreen lotion, facial oil blend or body lotion. Unlike kojic acid, no pH adjustment is required. Kojic Acid Dipalmitate is stable at pH 4–8 and resistant to oxidation.
