VDV II PLUS | TREND Networks (formerly IDEAL Networks) The VDV II PLUS allows a user to check the integrity of copper cables commonly found in domestic, commercial, or industrial voice, data, or video installations, including telephone wiring, data network, and video/security cabling.  Features  VDV II PLUS offers functionality not previously available in a wiremapper. The device accurately measures cable length and provides distance to open information. It also includes a hub blink function and can also test shielded cables. The VDV II PLUS also features integrated RJ11/RJ12 (voice), RJ45 (data), and F-Type (video) connectors that allow faster testing of most types of low-voltage cables by eliminating the need for separate testers or adapters. The VDV II PLUS includes all the features of the VDV II including a hub blink function for port identification and a larger 2.9” screen display and backlight.  Further, simplify troubleshooting with the VDV II PLUS series optional accessories. RJ45 remote units and identifiers, as well as a set of numbered coax remote units, can be used to extend the remote testing ability for added onsite efficiency.
