Afra Heavy Duty Silicone Spray Grade 8082 is a silicone based aerosol mold release preparation designed for use in injection molding and thermoplastic applications. It is compatible with ABS, Nylon, Polypropylene, Polystyrene, Polycarbonate, Polyester, Polyethylene, PPO and several resins, rubbers, waxes and metals. Grade 8082 contains a higher molecular weight silicone dispersed in a hydrocarbon solvent to provide a wet mist spray that gives a higher yield of molded articles per spray. The product offers a wide temperature range from -40°C to 200°C, is non toxic, colorless, generally odorless and free from chlorinated solvents and ozone depleting substances. It is water repellent, plastic safe, non oxidizing, non gumming and can also serve as a light lubricant for metal and plastic substrates.
