Scope of delivery: you receive pieces of thimbles (rope thimbles, thimbles heart, heart thimbles) of the indicated size for 5.5 mm to 6 mm wire ropes, stainless steel ropes, winch ropes, natural ropes, forest ropes & other types of rope. Size: for an illustration of the technical size specifications of the steel thimbles see the diagram! The size of the wire rope thimble should correspond to the strength of the rope up to max. 1 mm smaller. Material: steel q235 galvanized (zn) - the galvanized steel thimble is therefore relatively insensitive to external influences! Thimbles (thimbles heart) protect ropes from damage caused by friction & chafing under load. They prevent excessive bending of the rope or cable & thus a possible break. Certification: wire rope thimble standardized according to din 6899 form b - tested quality! Use: heart thimbles are particularly suitable for the formation & reinforcement of eyelets or eyebolts at the rope ends (rope eye). In the case of wire ropes, the thimble is clamped into the wire rope eye with a ferrule or wire rope clamp.
