These pans conduct heat quickly and evenly, so high heat is rarely necessary. The sturdy plastic handles are stay-cool and comfortable. The Pan with two short handles makes an elegant serving bowl as well. The cooking surface is made of PFOA-free with a unique patented process by which high quality nonstick coating (made in Germany) is locked firmly into the tough Hard Anodised surface underneath. Therefore, the nonstick, if used properly, would last longer than the ordinary nonstick. All-Purpose Pans have snug-fit dome-shaped lids which are suitable for simmering. The Pans can be used on domestic gas, kerosene, electric, ceramic and halogen stoves.
